Zest Optical are recruiting on behalf of an independent opticians in Dudley who are looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, patient-focused practice where you will have the time and freedom to provide a high standard of personal service.

You will work alongside an experienced team, delivering expert dispensing advice and helping patients choose the most suitable lenses and frames for their individual needs.

The Role

As a Dispensing Optician, you will:

• Provide high-quality dispensing services to a wide range of patients
• Offer expert advice on lenses, lens options and frame selection
• Take accurate measurements and ensure the correct fitting of eyewear
• Carry out adjustments, repairs and aftercare
• Build strong relationships with patients through a personal and professional approach
• Work closely with the wider practice team to provide an excellent patient journey
• Maintain high clinical and professional standards in line with GOC requirements
• Contribute to the continued success of the practice

The Person

We are looking for a Dispensing Optician who is:

• Fully qualified and registered with the GOC
• Confident in all aspects of dispensing
• Passionate about patient care and customer service
• Friendly, professional and approachable
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
• Organised and confident within a busy optical practice

The Opportunity

• Salary between £30,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
• Full-time position
• Working hours of 9am to 5.30pm, including Saturdays
• Independent practice environment
