Technical Sales Engineer – Optical products – Midlands / Southern England
Zest Optical are looking to recruited a talented and committed Optical Sales Engineer to join a successful UK ophthalmic sales team. The role will be to help drive the brand in the UK optical market and help develop education and awareness of the full portfolio
The product range has always been at the forefront of the latest technologies to allow more efficient screening for visual disorders, and provide a better quality of life with technologically enhanced refraction equipment dedicated to ophthalmic diagnosis.
The role will have 2 distinct elements;
Sales & Marketing – being able to identify potential customers to secure and then deliver product demonstrations out in the field and via events / exhibitions
Technical Support – Able to provide field and telephone support for existing systems, including Software upgrades and fixes and follow up training
We are interested in talking to motivated Optical professionals to include, Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Practice staff and current optical sales individuals. You will need to have a passion for optical technologies with an in depth ability to learn clinical, technical and commercial details. You will have first class communication skills, be well organised and motivated. This role carries a great deal of autonomy so you will need to be comfortable in making decisions to ensure the right result for the business happens
Although you will primarily be looking after the Midlands and South, there will be quite a lot of National travel to support the business where needed and potential weekend work supporting various trade shows and other events.
