Zest Optical are proud to be working with a fast-growing optical brand who are changing the way people buy glasses to recruit an Optical Assistant to cover their teams across Newcastle, primarily based in the Metro Centre.

The Optical Assistant Role

  • Carrying out day-to-day dispensing of lenses and frames
  • Completing glazing and associated optical tasks
  • Supporting the wider team to deliver a first-class customer experience
  • Playing an active role in the smooth running of the store

The Optical Assistant

  • Previous experience within an optical environment is essential
  • Confident working in a busy retail setting
  • A strong communicator who can build great relationships with customers
  • Well-organised with excellent attention to detail
