We are currently working with a leading independent opticians in Knutsford who are looking to recruit an Optical Assistant / Receptionist to join their close-knit team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a modern, high-end practice that’s built around clinical excellence, bespoke eyewear, and outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for all patients, you’ll play a key role in shaping the client journey and ensuring the practice runs smoothly day-to-day.

Optical Assistant / Receptionist – Role

  • Based in a high-end independent opticians in the heart of Knutsford
  • Full-time position including Saturdays
  • Sole responsibility for all front-of-house and administrative duties
  • Welcoming patients, managing diaries, answering calls and emails
  • Preparing clinics, processing payments, maintaining patient records
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering a smooth, high-quality patient experience
  • Modern, relaxed and design-led practice environment

Optical Assistant / Receptionist – Requirements

  • Previous experience in optical, healthcare or front-of-house roles preferred
  • Confident communicator with a warm, professional approach
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple admin tasks independently
  • Enjoys being customer-facing and delivering memorable experiences
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Optical Assistant / Receptionist – Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to £25,000
  • Full-time position including Saturdays
