Job Title: Optical Assistant – Cardiff

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £27,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, including weekends on a rota basis

Zest Optical are working with a fast-growing optical brand who are changing the way people buy glasses to recruit an Optical Assistant into their team in Cardiff.

The Role

As an Optical Assistant, you will:

  • Provide friendly and professional support to every customer
  • Help customers choose the right frames and lenses for their lifestyle
  • Deliver a fun, memorable experience that reflects the brand
  • Assist with daily operations including appointments, stock, and store presentation
  • Work closely with your team to ensure excellent service standards
  • Assist with glazing using modern, computerised equipment

The Person

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in optics (optical background is essential)
  • Confident, approachable and enthusiastic about helping people
  • Organised and able to thrive in a busy retail environment
  • Flexible to work weekends on a rota basis
