We are currently working alongside a well-established independent practice in Bury, Greater Manchester to recruit a Optical Assistant to their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a lovely practice which holds a great reputation for offering the highest levels of service in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • Independent Opticians which has been in the area for 70 years
  • Clinically focused practice
  • Directors who are constantly investing and developing the practice
  • 4 testing rooms
  • Working alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician
  • Huge selection of designer eyewear – Rayban, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Tiffany
  • Accounts with most lens suppliers – Essilor, Zeiss and Hoya
  • Ensure top levels of customer service
  • Ordering items from suppliers as required
  • Working 5 days a week including a Sat
  • Working hours are between 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Basic salary between £20,000 - £21,000 Plus bonus

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Experience of working in an Opticians
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Digitally savvy
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
