Optometry, Optician vacancies and Dispensing Optician jobs based in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Zest Optical recruitment are working with an independent Opticians in Paisley to hire a part time Optical Assistant.

A leading group of independent Opticians based in Scotland are looking for a part time Dispensing Optician to work at their Paisley branch. This is a very successful practice which is modern and very professional.

Role

  • Dispensing frames and lenses to all levels, including varifocals
  • Taking measurements and making any necessary adjustments
  • Dealing with patient collections
  • Providing professional advice
  • Working 2-3 days a week including most Saturdays
  • 9am to 5.30pm

Requirements

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
  • Able to dispense spectacles
  • Enjoy building relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills; clear verbal and written communication with active listening skills
  • Wish to work in a supportive and rewarding environment

Salary

  • Paying between £22,000 to £24,000 Pro Rata
