Dispensing Optician vacancies in Milton Keynes. Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for its established practice in Milton Keynes.

The successful Dispensing Optician will have the time and freedom to build genuine relationships with patients, understand their individual needs and recommend the most suitable frames, lenses and optical solutions.
Dispensing Optician – Role
• Independent opticians with a strong focus on patient care
• Established practice serving Milton Keynes and the surrounding communities
• Work closely with the Optometrists and wider practice team
• Provide expert advice based on each patient’s needs and lifestyle
• Dispense, fit and adjust a wide range of spectacles
• Access to the latest developments in spectacle lenses and contact lenses
• Excellent selection of frames from premium and well-known brands
• Brands include Jensen, Polo, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Tom Ford, Ted Baker, Carolina Herrera, Cocoa Mint, Ralph Lauren, Wolf and Stepper
• Deliver a high standard of service throughout every stage of the patient journey
• Part-time permanent position working four days per week
• Week one: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Week two: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am to 4:00pm

Dispensing Optician – Requirements
• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician
• FBDO qualification
• Registered with the GOC
• Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident advising on frames, lenses and suitable optical solutions
• Patient-focused with high standards of service
• Takes pride in delivering an excellent patient experience
• Right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship
