A well established independent Opticians based in Exeter, Dorset are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician to join the team.
This is a very well-known and well respected independent Optician with a loyal customer base. The practice focusses on going above and beyond for patients which is why it has such an amazing reputation
It has recently been taken over by two new passionate Directors who plan on driving the business forward at every opportunity.
Dispensing Optician – Role
- Working between two traditional independent Opticians
- The 2 practices are close together
- New Directors with big ideas
- Focus on quality and customer service
- High average dispensing value
- Access to a wide variety of frames and lenses
- Optix software
- Working alongside an experienced team
- Encouraged to develop at every opportunity
- Practice refit due in the future
- Full or part time role to include alternate Saturdays
- Typical working hours from 9am to 5.30pm (9am to 2pm on a Sat)
- Basic salary between £25,000 to £32,000 (Pro rata if part time)
- Professional fees paid
Dispensing Optician – Requirements
- Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- A Student DO will also be considered
- Passionate about eyewear and styling
- Flair for fashion
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Team player
- Attention to detail
