Dispensing Optician Job in Hove, East Sussex | Independent Opticians | Up to £35,000

Location: Hove, East Sussex
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-Time | No Sundays or Bank Holidays

Zest Optical is working with a well-established, modern independent Opticians in Hove to recruit a Dispensing Optician. With over 60 years of history and a reputation for clinical excellence, this practice blends traditional values with modern technologies and fashion-forward eyewear.

The Opportunity

  • Join a high-end optical practice with a long-standing and loyal patient base
  • Work with premium eyewear brands including Lindberg, Starck, Silhouette, Ray-Ban, Revo, Lafont, LA Eyeworks, and more
  • Deliver bespoke dispensing tailored to each individual’s needs
  • Get involved in myopia management and advanced eye examinations
  • Collaborate with two experienced Dispensing Opticians and a friendly support team
  • Help patients experience top-tier clinical care in a relaxed and stylish environment

Role Details

  • Full-time position – 5 days a week including Saturdays
  • Working hours: 9am to 5:30pm (4pm finish on Saturdays)
  • No Sundays, no late nights
  • Salary between £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
  • GOC and ABDO fees paid
  • 4 weeks holiday, increasing annually
