Dispensing Optician vacancies and Optical Assistant jobs based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.  Zest Optical are recruiting for a Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant on behalf of an independent Opticians in Trowbridge.

A quality focused independent Opticians based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire are looking to recruit a full or part time Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant into the team.

Having been in the local area for over 60 years they have developed an excellent reputation for offering patients a comprehensive and personal service. 

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant - Role

  • Working between two independent Opticians
  • Modern, computerised practice
  • Provide a comprehensive dispensing service
  • Measurements, collections, adjustments etc
  • Working with high end brands such as Ted Baker, Silhouette and Radley
  • Leading the high quality team with the focus on high levels of customer care
  • Training and developing staff
  • Professional Development – additional training, specialist clinics etc
  • Freedom to work with a variety of frames and lenses
  • 9am - 5pm (2pm on a Sat)
  • Full or part time available
  • Paying between £18,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and qualification

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant - Requirements

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant
  • Confident dispensing to all levels
  • Management experience would be preferential
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
