A well established independent Opticians based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician Manager to join the team.
This is a very well-known and well respected independent Optician with a loyal customer base. The emphasis is on offering a professional and tailored service to all its customers.
Dispensing Optician Manager – Role
- Single testing room practice
- Traditional practice with amazing potential for growth
- New owners who believe in investing into both the practice and the team
- Focus on offering a personalised service
- Professional freedom to work with the very best lenses
- Involvement in stock selection – Chance to introduce exciting new brands
- Leading a small team of 3 people, making sure the practice is running smoothly
- Working full time, 5 days a week including most Saturdays – 1 in 4 off
- Typical working hours from 9am to 5.30pm
- No Sundays or Bank holidays
- Salary between £30,000 to £35,000 (Potentially room for movement for the right candidate)
- Professional fees paid
- Support from other DO’s within the business
- Continuous training and development
Dispensing Optician Manager – Requirements
- Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Interest in working with exciting frame brands
- Management experience would be an advantage
- Looking to help grow a successful independent practice
- Proactive
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Wants to be part of a close knit team
