Ophthalmic Sales & Surgical sales jobs in the UK.  Zest Optical Sales Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established manufacturer who are seeking to recruit a Surgical Sales Manager to spearhead the development and growth of their IOL division.  This is a truly unique opportunity for someone who can demonstrate a strong track record in the ophthalmic and surgical sales arena as the role will bear an route to senior management as the Surgical Sales Manager will not only lead the line in terms of achieving the sales targets but be involved in the complete management of this division as it grows.

Reporting to the UK Director your primary objective in this role will be to set up and establish the companies range of Intra Ocular lenses (IOL’s) and further develop their portfolio of surgical products across the UK

You will need to have a good understanding of the UK Ophthalmic surgical market, especially within the IOL or refractive surgery market, in addition to this knowledge of anterior segment surgery would be advantageous.  Our client is happy to consider applications within the wider surgical sector as long as you can demonstrate a track record and hold a profile with the surgeons and KOL’s associated within this arena.

This will initially be a national role therefore considerable travel will be required as well as potentially unsociable hours in the operating theatres.  In addition there may be occasional travel outside the UK and Europe.

In return for your experiences you will receive a generous basic salary up to £60,000 with fantastic OTE potential (uncapped scheme).  You will receive all further benefits that is associated with a global medical company details of which will be released at application.
