The practice

  • Established independent Opticians with a loyal local patient base
  • Calm, supportive team with a strong focus on clinical care
  • Well equipped practice with modern diagnostic equipment
  • Emphasis on quality eye care rather than high test volumes

Locum Optometrist role

  • Regular locum position, Monday or Wednesday
  • Working hours 9.00am to 5.30pm
  • 45 minute testing to allow thorough, unhurried examinations
  • Use of trial frames
  • Fundus camera available
  • Fields and pressures completed by the support team
  • Mix of routine eye examinations and ongoing patient care
