Optometry jobs and part time Optometrist vacancies in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.   Zest Optical recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent Opticians in Hull to hire a part time Optometrist.

A patient focused independent Opticians based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire are looking to recruit a part time Optometrist to work 20 hours a week. You will work between two community based practices for two and a half days a week.

Role

  • Providing thorough 30 minute sight tests to adults
  • 15 minutes for children and contact lens appointments
  • Working as the sole resident Optometrist
  • Access to fundus camera
  • Phoropter and trial frames available
  • Contact lens work
  • Working closely with the Dispensing Optician and support team to ensure a smooth handover
  • Working 2.5 days a week
  • 9am to 6pm during the week and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays

Salary and Benefits

  • Paying up to £62,000 Pro Rata (£33,000 for 20 hours)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays – Pro rata
  • Professional fees paid
  • Paid CET day
  • No Sunday or Bank Holiday working
  • Free parking
