Locum Optometrist - Trowbridge - Independent - 2-3 Day a Week - 6 week Contract

A clinically focused independent Opticians based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire are looking for a Locum Optometrist to work 2-3 day a week on a 5-6 week contract basis starting June time. 

Optometrist – Role

• Amazing patient reviews
• Providing thorough sight tests to patients – 45-60 minute appointments
• Advanced equipment including an OCT and Optomap
• No contact lenses
• Close links to the local Hospital with direct contact with OphthalmologistsWorking alongside an experienced Optometrist Director and a qualified Dispensing Optician
• Working 2-3 days a week on a Mon, Tues or Wed (Your choice)
• Starting off as a 5-6 Week contract with potential for it to be ongoing 
• 9am to 5pm opening hours
• Flexible working arrangements available – term time only, school hours etc
• Locum rate - £300-£350 per day

Optometrist - Requirements

• Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
• Focused on quality care
• Ideally 5 years + qualified
• Looking for a long term role
• Able to develop a rapport with patients
• Excellent communications and organisational skills
