A leading eye surgery specialist are looking to recruit a full, part time or Locum Optometrist based at their clinic in Newton Abbot, South Devon.
Optometrist – Role
- Leading provider of NHS and private eye surgery including cataract removal and refractive eye surgery
- Comfortable state of the art clinic
- Conduct pre-treatment consultation & post-treatment aftercare appointments
- Provide treatment recommendations based on your clinical findings during consultation
- Communicate regularly with staff regarding the treatment recommendation and/or post-operative care of patients
- No experience is needed in refractive eye surgery as training will be provided
- Flexible working pattern -3, 4 or 5 days a week
- Locum or employed would be considered
- Salary between £52,000 to £68,000 DOE
- Locum rate between - £275 - £425
- Exceptional bonus scheme which could be an additional 15K on top – for Locum and employed
- Rota provided 6-8 weeks in advance
- They can work around your availability

Optometrist - Requirements
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- Must have been qualified for 2 years +
- Looking for a varied role
- Excellent communications and organisational skills
