A fantastic independent Opticians based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire are looking for a full time Optometrist to join the team. This is an advanced practice where you will be encouraged to develop and progress at every opportunity.
Optometrist - Role
- Single testing room independent
- Technologically driven - Director has invested heavily into new equipment and will continue to do so
- Auto Phoropter, Optomap, Topographer
- Working alongside an experienced support team
- Opportunities outside the testing room – helping with training, dispensing etc
- Specialist contact lens fits and dry eye clinics
- Testing times 35-40 mins (30 mins pre COVID)
- Ideally a full time role but part time will also be considered
- Typical working hours are from 9am to 5.30pm
- Basic salary between £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Optometrist - Requirements
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- Contact Lens experience
- Self motivated
- Hands on – Willing to get involved outside of the test room
- Wants to help develop and grow the business
- Wants to be a part of a friendly, close knit team
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient focused
- Dynamic
