Optometry, Optometrist vacancies and Optometrist jobs in Yorkshire. Zest Optical recruitment are currently seeking to recruit a full Optometrist on behalf of an independent group of Opticians.

My client is a leading independent group of independent Opticians across the UK, and they are currently looking for a mobile Optometrist to cover the Yorkshire region. The variety of being a locum with the benefits of an employed role.

Optometrist – Role

  • Well established group of independent Opticians
  • Covering the Yorkshire region with a rota 3 months in advance
  • Furthest travel would be up to 2 hours with the start and finish time taken into consideration
  • All independents with testing times from 30-45 mins
  • Excellent salary – Between 60-65K plus a £5,000 mobile Optometrist allowance  
  • All travel expenses covered
  • Full time including most Sats
  • Professional fees covered
  • Healthcare plan
  • Support with additional accreditations

Optometrist - Requirements

  • Full qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Happy to commute
  • Excellent communications and organisational skills
  • Willing to adapt
  • Full driving licence
  • Ideal location would be Harrogate/Leeds/Wetherby way but all locations would be considered
