A lovely independent Opticians based in the Dumfries and Galloway area are looking for a part time Optometrist to work 3 days a week. This small but busy practice is very well respected in the area for the quality of Eyecare service they offer.

Optometrist - Role

  • 30-45 Min testing times
  • New computer system
  • Working in a team of 3-4 people
  • Access to all the equipment you need – Trial frames, phoropter, fundus camera, fields machines
  • Professional freedom
  • Working 3 days a week with no weekend work – Potential to increase days in the future
  • Salary between £55,000 to £60,000 Pro Rata

Optometrist - Requirements

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Passion for Optometry
  • Happy to work in a small team
  • Reliable
  • Excellent customer service skills
