Opticians vacancies and Optometrist jobs based in Bury, Greater Manchester. Zest Optical recruitment are working with an independent Opticians in Bury to hire a full or part time Optometrist.

We are currently working alongside a well-established independent practice in Bury, Greater Manchester to recruit an Optometrist to their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a lovely practice which holds a great reputation for offering the highest levels of service in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Optometrist – Role

  • Independent Opticians which has been in the area for 70 years
  • Clinically focused practice
  • Directors who are constantly investing and developing the practice
  • Typically double tests each day
  • 25-30 mins tests with pre-screening done by the support team
  • Advanced equipment including an OCT
  • Ensure top levels of customer service
  • Working 3, 4 or 5 days a week including a Sat
  • Working hours are between 9am to 5.30pm
  • Basic salary between £45,000 - £55,000 Plus bonus
  • Professional fees paid
  • 25 days holiday plus bank hols
  • Healthcare plan

Optometrist – Requirements

  • Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Digitally savvy
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
