Optometry vacancies and Optometrist jobs in Bournemouth, Dorset.  Zest Optical recruitment are currently working on behalf of an independent based in Bournemouth to hire a full or part time Optometrist.

My client is a small group of independent Opticians based in the Hampshire/Dorset area, and they are looking to recruit a full or part time Optometrist. This is a long established, family run group which is recognised for its personalised and professional service. Their core values are to Delight Impress and Value each and every client irrespective of their spend level.

Optometrist - Role 

  • Relaxed clinics with 40 minute appointments
  • Working either in a single or double clinic
  • Working between 2-3 practices all close to Bournemouth
  • Access to the latest testing equipment - OCT
  • Optix practice management system
  • Support of highly-skilled support teams
  • High-end and advanced environment
  • Full or part time including most Saturdays
  • Opening hours - 9am – 5pm

Optometrist - Requirements 

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Commercial awareness
  • Patient focused
  • Interest in working in a close-knit team where everybody looks out for each other
  • Drive to further develop the team around them and in turn, the reputation of the practice

Optometrist - Package

  • Base salary between £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme
  • Professional fees paid
  • Free parking
  • No unsociable hours, Sundays or Bank holidays
