Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + Bonus
Hours: Full-Time | No Sundays or Bank Holidays
Location: Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire
Zest Optical are working alongside a well-established independent Opticians in Stourport-on-Severn to recruit an Optical Practice Manager to lead their friendly and experienced team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Optical professional looking to take the next step in their career, combining clinical care, operational management, and team leadership within a respected community-based practice.
The Opportunity
- Join a thriving independent Opticians with a reputation for providing exceptional patient care
- Lead and support a close-knit team of 3–4 people
- Work hands-on across all areas of the practice – dispensing, reception, customer service
- Collaborate with Directors to drive business performance and implement new strategies
- Take responsibility for staff development, rotas, and performance reviews
- Contribute to frame buying and maintaining a premium product offering
- Support audiology services and ensure smooth clinic operations
- Use Optix practice management software
- Work closely with a loyal patient base in a relaxed, patient-led environment
Role Details
- Full-time – 5 days per week, including Saturdays
- Working hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm (5:00pm on Saturdays)
- No Sundays or Bank Holidays
- Competitive salary between £27,000 - £30,000, depending on experience
- Bonus scheme based on performance
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays + your birthday off

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in optics is essential
- Background in management or supervisory roles within an Opticians
- Passion for delivering excellent patient service
- A self-motivated, proactive individual with strong organisational skills
- A team player who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment
