A high end independent Opticians based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team

Optical Assistant – Role

  • High end independent practice known for its first class service
  • Working alongside an experienced Optom Director and support team
  • Relaxed environment with no pressure on targets and selling, only creating a unique and positive experience for each patient
  • Excellent 5* patient reviews
  • Working with an eclectic mix of designer and boutique brands – Lindberg, Maui Jim, Tiffany
  • Mix or reception, admin and frame selection
  • No late nights or Sundays
  • Working 4 or 5 days a week including most Saturdays
  • 9am to 5.30pm
  • Salary between 22-25K DOE
  • DO course available in the future, fully funded

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Recent experience of working within an Opticians
  • Exceptional Customer service skills
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Computer literate
  • Interest in fashion and styling
