Optical Assistant jobs, Optical Adviser, Dispensing Assistant in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.   Zest Optical are recruiting on behalf of an independent Opticians in Sutton Coldfield to hire a full or part time Optical Assistant.

We are currently looking for a full or part time Optical Assistant to join a well-established independent Opticians based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Optical Assistant - Role

  • Friendly and professional independent
  • Modern, high end environment
  • Double tests most days
  • iClarity
  • Essilor specialists
  • Advanced dispensing equipment
  • OCT
  • Long standing team
  • Reception / admin duties
  • Frame styling with access to a wide range of quality brands – Lindberg, Gucci etc
  • Dispensing to all levels including complex lenses
  • Collections/adjustments
  • Supervisory/Team Leader responsibilities
  • Full or part time – 9am to 5.30pm (9am to 2pm on a Sat)
  • One in four Saturdays off
  • Salary between £20,000 to £22,000 DOE

Optical Assistant - Requirements

  • Previous experience working within optics
  • Must have experience working in a high end independent
  • Intuitive
  • Willing to learn
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
