About the Opportunity

Zest Optical are supporting a fast-growing optical practice in Merton, South West London. Known for delivering genuinely high standards of customer service, a strong range of eyewear and a modern, well-invested environment, the practice has built solid demand and is now expanding the team with a new Optical Assistant role.

This isn't a business standing still, it's one that's grown to the point where it needs more support on the floor, and that growth brings real scope for anyone who joins to develop with it.

The Role

  • Optical Assistant role within a fast-growing, modern practice in Merton
  • Welcome patients and guide them through their visit from start to finish
  • Support frame styling and eyewear consultations, helping patients find something they genuinely like
  • Provide dispensing support, measurements, adjustments and collections
  • Help maintain high presentation standards across the practice
  • Work closely with an experienced, friendly team to keep service consistently strong

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working within optics
  • A genuine interest in eyewear, styling and customer experience
  • Someone confident, personable and professional with patients
  • Comfortable in a modern, fast-paced environment

What's on Offer

  • Salary up to £28,000
  • Uncapped bonus scheme - existing team members currently earning £400+ a month on top of salary
  • Full-time, stable hours: 9:30am–6:00pm, with one weekend day required
