Zest Optical recruitment are working in partnership with an award-winning independent Opticians in Loughborough, Leicestershire to recruit a full or part time Optical Assistant. Optical Assistant – Role
- Based across two practices within close proximity in Loughborough
- Modern, fully equipped practices with a focus on advanced eye health technology
- Predominantly private patient base with a strong emphasis on personalised service
- Relaxed, non-pressured environment offering 30-45 minute testing slots
- Work with leading lens brands including Essilor and Hoya
- Support in all areas: dispensing, pre-screening, administrative duties, social media and staff training
- Involvement in promoting the practice’s award-winning clinical services and customer experience
- Full or part time hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (4:00pm Saturdays)
- Regular Saturdays required (no Sundays or Mondays)
- 45-minute lunch breaks
- Free on-site parking
Optical Assistant – Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an Opticians or Optical Assistant role
- Passionate about patient care and delivering outstanding customer service
- Willingness to support all aspects of the practice and take on new responsibilities
- Must have own transport to commute between practices
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
