A brand new independent Opticians based in South Glasgow are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.
Optical Assistant – Role
- New independent Opticians opening in Nov 2023
- Based in South Glasgow (Close to Queens Street station)
- Bright, modern practice
- Help launch a new business and build its reputation
- Single testing room
- Small team initially with room to grow
- Cover all areas of the practice including reception, pre-screening, measurements, frame selection and collections
- Work closely with the Optom Director
- Room to grow and progress as the business grows
- Working Monday to Friday – 9am to 5.30pm
- Salary between £21,000 to £23,000 DOE
- Salary and bonus reviewed after 6 months
Optical Assistant – Requirements
- A successful track record as an Optical Assistant
- Happy to work alone at times
- Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
- Able to build relationships with patients
