Optical Assistant vacancies and Optical Assistant jobs based on Fulham, South West London. Zest Optical recruitment are working with an independent Opticians based in Fulham to hire a full time Optical Assistant.  

A high end, luxury independent Opticians based in Fulham are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • High end independent
  • Modern, luxurious feel
  • Single testing rooms
  • Tests 3 to 4 times a week
  • Working in a small team, working alone at times
  • Responsible for all areas of the practice including dispensing, reception and admin
  • Access to amazing frames and lenses – Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples, Tiffany
  • Plenty of time to spend with patients
  • Focus on quality rather than quantity
  • Full time Tuesday to Saturday – 9.30am to 5.30pm (4pm on a Sat)
  • Salary between £24,000 to £27,000

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within an Opticians
  • Happy to work alone some times
  • Self motivated
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Looking for a long term career
