We are currently looking for an Optical Assistant to join a modern independent Opticians based in Coulsdon, South London.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • Modern, patient focused practice
  • Provide comprehensive dispensing service
  • Measurements, collections, adjustments etc
  • Reception duties
  • Providing exceptional levels of service to patients
  • Paperless practice
  • Full time including Saturdays
  • 9am to 5.30pm
  • Salary between £16,000 to £18,000
  • Bonus scheme
  • Team incentives

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Previous experience working within optics
  • Dispensing experience including varifocals
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
