An award winning independent Opticians based in central London are looking to recruit a full time Optical Assistant into the team.

Based in an exclusive area of central London, this practice has developed an excellent reputation for offering specialist services, as well as a range unique eyewear.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • Modern, high end boutique practice
  • Focus on quality and customer service
  • Brands from all over the world – SALT, MYKITA, Tom Davies, Tom Ford etc
  • Working alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician
  • Paperless practice
  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Reception and admin
  • Referral letters
  • Assisting the Director with any medical admin
  • Assisting with glazing in the onsite lab
  • Full or part time role to include most Saturdays
  • Typical working hours from 9am to 6pm with one late evening a week (11am to 5pm on a Sat)
  • Basic salary between £20,000 to £25,000

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Experienced Optical Assistant or Medical Secretary
  • Admin experience
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • Flair for fashion
  • Pulse on the market
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
