A well established independent Opticians based in Blackheath, South East London are looking for a part time Optical Assistant.

Optical Assistant - Role

  • Patient focused independent Opticians
  • Quality over quantity
  • Patient base of all ages
  • Advanced equipment – OCT, Optomap
  • Optix computer system
  • Varied frame range including exclusive designer brands
  • More of an admin and reception based role – Booking clinics, NHS forms, ordering stock, updating patient records, general day to day running of the practice
  • Working 3-4 days a week between Monday to Friday – 9am to 5.30pm
  • Occasional Sats required 9am to 1pm
  • 1 hour unpaid lunch
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (Pro rata)
  • Salary between 18-20K pro rata

Optical Assistant - Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within an Opticians
  • Loyal
  • Caring attitude who enjoys going above and beyond
  • Optix experience would be an advantage
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
