Zest Optical are working with a leading independent Opticians covering Bexleyheath, Chislehurst and Sevenoaks to recruit an Optical Assistant. This is a part-time role (3–4 days per week, no weekends) offering a salary of £24,000–£26,000 pro rata, plus staff parking and ongoing training.
Optical Assistant – Role
- Modern, high-end independent practices with an excellent reputation
- Working between 2–3 practices across Bexleyheath, Chislehurst and Sevenoaks
- Role created due to expansion and continued growth
- Patient-focused environment with an emphasis on quality and customer service
- Supportive, team-focused culture with regular training and team events
- Access to a wide range of designer and luxury eyewear brands including Bvlgari, Kate Spade, Savile Row and Silhouette
- Hands-on involvement in all areas of the practice alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician and fully trained support team
- Hours: 3-4 days per week, 9am-5.30pm, no weekends
- Salary: £24,000-£26,000 pro rata
- Staff parking
Optical Assistant – Requirements
- Previous experience working within an Opticians
- A passion for eyewear, fashion, and styling
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work well within a team
