A patient focused group of independent Opticians are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician at their Wallingford, Oxfordshire practice.

Dispensing Optician – Role

  • High end independent Opticians
  • Amazing new refit happening very soon
  • Loyal patient base
  • Team of about 3-4 people
  • Single testing – Full cover
  • Access to high quality frames and lenses
  • Exclusive brands to the area - Blackfin, Taylor Morris, SALT 
  • Working in the high quality team with the focus on high levels of customer care
  • Provide a comprehensive dispensing service
  • Working 5 days a week including a Saturdays
  • Typical working hours are 9am to 5.30pm (4pm a Sat)
  • Salary between £25,000 to £30,000

Dispensing Optician – Requirements

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about offering great service
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Be able to listen and acknowledge requirements
  • Strong team player
  • Happy to help in all areas of the practice
