A small boutique independent Opticians based in South East London are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician to ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Dispensing Optician – Role

  • Modern independent

  • Tests 4 days a week
  • Focus on quality and customer service
  • Access to high quality frames and lenses
  • Working in a team of 2-3 people
  • Input into frame selection
  • Responsible for ordering
  • Onsite glazing
  • Full time including Saturdays
  • Dispensing 4 days and 1 admin day
  • Working 9am to 5pm (3pm on a Sat)
  • Salary between £28,000 to £32,000 DOE
  • Professional fees paid
  • No Sundays- no bank holidays - Easter off - Xmas period off

Dispensing Optician – Requirements

  • Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
  • Happy to work on your own at times
  • Service focused
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
