Optician vacancies and full time Dispensing Optician jobs based in Brixton, South West London.  Zest Optical are working with a small boutique Opticians in Brixton to hire a full time Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant.

My client is a small well established independent Opticians in Brixton (South West London) and they are looking to recruit a full time Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant.

The practice aims to provide the highest quality eye care possible,  and caters to a wide selection of patients in the area. As well as designer brands such as Tiffany and Cartier, they also provide bespoke frames for the quirkier customer.

The Role

  • Dispensing high quality frames and lenses depending on lifestyle, fashion and budget.
  • Spending time with each patient to understand personal requirements.
  • Working closely with the director to actively drive the business forward
  • Dealing with complex patient queries
  • Providing outstanding levels of customer service
  • Working in a small team of 5 people
  • Full Time (Part Time may be considered)
  • 9.30am to 6.30pm
  • The salary is between £17,000 to £28,000.

The Person

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
  • OR an experienced Optical Assistant
  • Customer focused
  • Confident
  • Energetic
  • Mixture of sales skills and clinical professionalism
  • Interest in Optical fashion and the latest trends
  • Self motivated
