Instrument Sales and Optometrist sales role. We are working with a leading optical manufacturer who are looking to recruit a sales person for their ophthalmic instrument sales team. In brief the duties will be to;
- Sell diagnostic ophthalmic equipment to optical customers
- To organise sales visits and the demonstration of the equipment
- Attend trade shows as required and present the instruments at events
- Develop excellent relationships throughout the optical industry
- Assist in the marketing of the equipment
- Install equipment at customer premises and train customers in correct use of the equipment and provide ongoing support.
- Develop the Instruments teams knowledge of diagnostic equipment
They are specifically looking for an Optometrist with knowledge and use of diagnostic equipment (slit lamps, Kertometers, Phoroptors, Tonometers, Topographers, Retinal Cameras, OCTS’s and Field screeners) with Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You must be willing to manage customers on your territory and be comfortable with regular travel
They are looking to pay a salary of 45k with additional bonus (between 10 - 12k) + company car and benefits package.
