Optometry vacancies and Optometrist jobs in South Wales. Zest Optical recruitment are currently working on behalf of an established Opticians based in South Wales to recruit a full time Optometrist.
A small group of community based in independent Opticians based in South Wales are looking for a full time Optometrist to work between three practices. All three practices are within 10 miles of each other, and are based within valleys easily commutable from Cardiff.
The Director is looking for a potential partner which could either be in near future or further down the line, so this could be an excellent opportunity if you are looking to invest in your own practice.
Optometrist - Role
- Working as the sole Optometrist
- 30 minute appointments
- Pre-screening done by the support team
- Working in a team of 3-4 people
- Fundus camera, trial frames
- Assisting with dispensing
- Patient focussed, relaxed environment
- Working 5 days a week from 9am to 5pm
- Saturdays included
- Business partnership opportunity if interested
Optometrist - Requirements
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- All levels of experience will be considered
- Accredited to test in Wales
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic
- Confident
- Ambitious – Further training can be provided
Optometrist - Package
- Base salary up to £45,000
