Zest Optical are currently working in association with a lovely community based independent in Rotherham, Yorkshire to recruit an Optical Lab Technician.

The lab is nice and spacious alongside being well-equipped with the latest equipment. Similar to the wider practice, it operates in a relaxed manner allowing you to produce the finest quality of work possible.

Optical Lab Technician – Role

  • Working within an advanced lab that is fully equipped with the latest Essilor equipment
  • Freedom to manage your own day autonomously
  • Wide range of products / jobs
  • 1 - 2 days/wk and flexible working hours
  • No bank holidays or weekend working
  • Locum or employed

Optical Lab Technician – Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within optics
  • Excellent communication skills: clear verbal and written communication with active listening skills
  • Able to work within systems and processes
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
