Optical Assistant – The Practice

Optical Assistant – The Role

  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Supporting the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians
  • Frame styling and dispensing
  • Measurements, collections, adjustments etc
  • Ordering and stock management
  • Working 37.5 hours a week which will include a weekend day
  • Paying between £18,000 to £20,000

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within an Opticians
  • Ability to dispense lenses to all levels
  • Friendly
  • Outgoing
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Computer literate
