An outstanding independent Opticians based in Shepton Mallet, Somerset are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant.

The practice is known for 3 things, niche eyewear, professional expertise and offering a personal service to every single patient.

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant – Role

  • Modern, patient focused practice
  • Loyal patient base
  • Access to leading brands from all across the world , including exclusive eyewear
  • Appointment based dispensing service – 45 minutes
  • Eyewear Styling consultations
  • Team of 3-4 people
  • Full time role including Saturday mornings.
  • Weekday working hours – 8.45am to 5.30pm
  • Salary is dependent on experience

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • GOC registered or an experienced Optical Assistant
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
  • Passionate about eyewear
  • Bright and personable
  • Flair for fashion, style, and colour.
